This beechwood in-drawer knife dock includes markings near the handle to help quickly identify each blade and includes a finger pull to remove the set from the drawer easily. The name Hikaeme translates to “humble, moderate and reserved” in Japanese as the knives are hidden in the drawer, allowing more bench space for prep work. Opening your drawers has never been such a delight and the beechwood provides natural anti-bacterial properties.
This knife dock also contains 2 new and unique knives. Normally the smaller paring and utility knives form part of the GS range which feature the smaller handles. However all the knives in this dock set have been created equal. Therefore they look neat and tidy in the dock with the handles the same length.
