For the most professional results, place the pizza stone in a cold oven and then turn it on to heat up the oven and stone together for 20 to 40 minutes. Slide your pizza onto the stone and place back into the oven until cooked. When cooked, leave your stone to cool and wipe with a clean, damp brush without detergent.
