The device automatically activates when the cat brushes against the brush. If no resistance is felt after five minutes, the device will turn off automatically.

Safety
The brush is secured so that nothing can enter between the rotating components. This is accomplished through a Stop/Return system in which, if the brush encounters resistance, it automatically turns back and stops, preventing, for instance, the tail from becoming entangled in the brush. Obviously extremely vital!

Includes catnip
To get your cat used to the brush, the package includes catnip. This can be added to the brush via the flap. In this manner, you can acclimate your cat to the machine. (Note that not all cats respond to catnip)

Methodically
At the beginning it may take some getting used to. Therefore, hold the brush loosely in your hands and comb the head or body for the first time. Therefore, train your cat to recognize and comprehend the device. Once your cat is familiar with and enjoys the toy, attach it to the wall and provide it with a place to play.
